Stay with
your pack.

PaceTag is being built to keep a running group together: follow your pacer, see who’s with you, and let the people you invite cheer you on. Your location stays yours.

Product concept · sample positions · no live tracking

2 km

Your group, nobody else.

You’ll start a session for your club run or race-day group. Only members will see it, and you choose who joins.

7 km

Clear, timely, calm.

Pacers will share their position and target pace with the group, so you know whether to hold, push or ease off, without staring at your wrist.

  • Planned for pacers, club leads and race-day pace groups.
  • Keep recording with the watch or app you already use.

Live, or labelled.

A dot on a map is easy to trust too much. PaceTag will show whether a position was measured or estimated, and how fresh it is. When data stops, the marker will say so instead of drifting on.

Measured

GPS fix 4 s ago · ±8 m

  1. Measured: a real position with its accuracy and time.
  2. Estimated: our best guess between fixes, always labelled.
  3. Stale: no new data, so the marker stops pretending to move.
Illustration with sample data. Drag to age the last GPS fix; thresholds are not final.

Off until you say so.

What we’re designing for, before any location is ever collected:

  • Location sharing will be opt-in for every session.
  • Spectator links will be invite-only, expire, and be revocable.
  • Raw location will never be public by default, and history kept only as long as needed.
  • PaceTag is not an emergency or medical tracker.

No. PaceTag is planned as a companion: keep recording with the watch or app you already use.
